	It also helps to make a note of the purchase date of your whole house or shower filter. You can make an educated guess with respect to usage/persons in your household. The Wellness shower filter lasts for 27,000 gallons. That’s equivalent to 1,080 ten minute showers – three a day for a year for example.
	The Wellness Whole House MG III lasts for seven to 10 years for typical family use. Larger families with regular house guests will use more water and a more conservative filter life expectation (eg: seven years) is advised.

Wellness Shower Filter

Will my existing shower head work with the Wellness Shower Filter?

Any standard shower head can be attached to the Wellness shower filter. However, the head included, and any that would be used to replace it, should have a regulated flow of 2.5 gallons per minute or less, as per the U.S. legal maximum..

What about my rain head shower attachment or power shower?

Some rain heads and custom shower fittings may require adaptors to connect the filter’s standard-size threads to unusual-sized shower arms for example. If in doubt, please send us a digital photo of your shower and we will try our best to advise you. A full refund is given should the shower filter not fit for any reason.

My shower arm is really close to the ceiling. How much clearance do I need?

The filter can be positioned at 45% angle and still work fine. It will not work if the shower filter is lying horizontal. You really need at least 8 inches clearance.

Where is the serial number located on the Wellness S-III Kitchen Filter (for the warranty)?

Serial # is located underneath the unit on the backside of the stainless cover.

Why is there a Leak Detector with my Wellness S-III Kitchen filter conversion kit?

The Leak detector is simply a preventative measure and can be mandated by or beneficial to the home owner’s insurance policy.

My Wellness S-III kitchen filter is beeping and I can’t turn the noise off. What should I do?

The S-III will continue to beep when the filter life has reached 1,000 gallons. This is purposefully to remind you that your water is no longer being effectively filtered. Order a new filter pack as soon as possible. To stop the beeping, disconnect the battery at base of unit.
